Concussion update - not great; head hurts; I’ve been flat on my back enjoying my ceiling when I’m awake - but mostly I'm sleeping. (woke up just long enough for this)
As I said, back on “X”, I would do a repost…
Here is my “Y” post from yesteryear; back in 2011 to be exact.
Enjoy.
Also - thank you for the wonderful comments and well wishes out here and behind the scenes - much appreciated!

Y is for Yackety Yak - redux
YOU, my dear readers and followers, may be surprised to know that, YES, I can add a video to my blog. (back in 2011 I was still getting a handle on this)
YET...You may have wondered if I would spin a Yarn for You about Yesterday's Yearnings.
Not wishing to disappoint...enjoy this little glimpse into Years gone by...my childhood of YesterYear. (back in 2011 this put a smile on my face... it did the same for me today... hope you get a smile out of it too)
Al - do you remember these little characters?
Hard to believe...I have Yackety Yakked my way through Yet another letter without Yielding to stress. Yeah, right?
Do you have fond memories of your yesteryears?
Cheers, Jenny
I have enjoyed your post... sorry for the lack of comments, it's a long boring story and it's a grand excuse... you have made it fun as always.
ReplyDeletei would like to go back 10 years on the yesteryear... return of the king in the show, having a full time job, my father would be around, thoughts of getting married swarming in the air, facebook didn't consume our lives... and like a 1000 more things that would shape the people we are today... happy "y"... why because we like you...

Hi Jeremy - thanks for stopping in - your comment has set a smile on my weary face. :)
DeleteIf only we could go back and revisit certain parts of our lives; say hello to those we miss; and maybe correct a few wrongs... but, it's a forward-only progression.
I guess, it's all about being happy in our present place. Comments like yours definitely add the "happy" factor to days like today.
Happy "Y" to you too... :) :)
Aw, sorry your head is still hurting. Hang in there, and keep resting! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda - I'd like to take my hammer to that walker and teach it a thing or two... :):)
DeleteI'm a trooper so I know I'll see the light (once I turn it on)... haha
Keep getting well Jenny, no issues with this being a repost because it's really good, just focus on getting better!
ReplyDeleteYou're such a great pal, Matt - thanks for your constant words of encouragement... hugs to you.
DeleteSorry to read that you hurt yourself. I hope you are feeling brighter soon. Concussion is a nasty thing
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mynx. I appreciate your well wishes - I'm sure this too shall pass! (I hope) :)
DeleteHi Jenny .. just take it easy - not much computer work because that soft brain thing below the skull (in case you've forgotten!) needs to heal properly back to it's pink-grey spludgy self without any hot spots.
ReplyDeleteLoved the yakkety yak and it did make me smile happily .. big hugs .. cheers Hilary
Hi Hilary - I'm taking it easy now that the A-Z is done. I hope to mend my head and be my good old self soon.
DeleteThank you so much for dropping by and adding these happy comments. Hugs to you. :)
