S is for SMILE - gee, can it get any harder!

☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀

Welcome to Pearson Report.
I am participating in the 2015 A to Z Challenge.

Yes, I will be adhering to my THEME Calendar.

☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀

In light of yesterday’s RUN UP A TAB question I think I have some sensible readers - no one asked for an expensive car, or a gadget that wasn’t essential. There clearly is an understanding of wants versus needs. Ah… to be surrounded by smart people - makes me smile!

Which brings me to today’s topic…

OKAY… HERE WE GO…

Today’s topic is about the little things that make me SMILE…

Enjoying my morning beverage!
Laughing, just because!
Thinking of all the folks that have blessed my life!
Sweet dreams and happy endings!
Saying "thank you" to so many wonderful people/bloggers in my life!

So… what little things puts a big SMILE on your face?

Cheers, Jenny

A special shout out to Arlee Bird, from Tossing It Out. He’s the Founder and Creator of the  April Blogging from A to Z Challenge, As well as being a blogging friend, he is a great motivator and an inspiring leader. Thanks Lee - you rock!

  2. I have nothing but little triumphs in my life, so I always thank someone for that cup of coffee... finding a dime on the street or people like yourself who remind me and us... there are people who do care.

    :)

    1. Little triumphs all add up. I'd rather have lots of little, daily smile moments than a big one that comes only once in a rare while.
I'm a fan of doing the little things to add a smile to someone's face, like you and the cup of coffee.

Thanks Jeremy - for coming by and leaving a little smile for me! Hugs. :)

    1. Awww, Anne Marie, that's sweet of you to say! Your visits here do the same for me. High five and hugs coming at you!

Don't laugh, but I had to google and see what boho pants were - very cool. Are your's colourful? And… as to Jesus putting a smile on your face, well, he's smiling too!

I'm watching this series, Doc Martin. It is laugh out loud funny. Lucky for me, there are about eight seasons...

    1. I love Doc Martin! My hubby and I have been watching this show but we missed the first season. They are making one more season before calling it quits. It's a great show

    2. Susie & Birgit - My mom's right there with you both. She loves the Doc Martin show. I'm trying to find a boxed set for her. I don't watch TV but when I'm visiting her, at he's on, I have to sit and be quiet until the show is over, LOL, which I don't mind one bit! It is funny!

    1. Ahhh… those are the real treasures, aren't they? The things we surround ourselves are the things that make us smile most.

My mind wanted to write "Sex Dreams" - but, you know me, always erring on keeping other minds out of my gutter! LOL hahahahaha You and me are sooo bad, in such a fun and devilish way! Hugs and smiles to you… xxoo

    1. Hi Susan - welcome to Pearson Report.

Your list of smile makers is amazing and touching. Hugs form your sweet children is such a visual thing - I love hugs from my daughter so I know the feeling well.

Seems you, along with the others here, appreciate the joy and happiness given by the simple things in our lives. Enjoy them! :) :)

  9. Jenny, you make me smile as do all the teams making A to Z work. Most of the participants make me smile as well except for the ones quitting or hopelessly falling behind--though I still might smile for those, it might be for different reasons.

  11. Oh, my! The list is too infinite to list here! Sometimes a flower, sometimes a loved one. Today, a boss who took us to lunch for administrative assistant's day and stood in a restaurant to pray and bless our food and bless us!!!!

    1. Dear Hilary - you know what makes me smile - seeing your beautiful avatar in my comment area. You say the kindest, most thoughtful things each time you drop in. For that I sincerely thank you.

You're right, no one wants to hear our blues… mostly because each of us has our own baggage that it's hard, and frustrating, to deal with that of others.

I knew a few smiley face cartoons would put so smiles on the faces of my readers… seems it has! Hugs and love, xxoo

  13. Walking the dog on a warm day at the local nature reserve and singing along to the radio, or my CDs (badly) puts a huge smile on my face - a demented one, really. That's probably why people avoid me on those dog walks... ;-)

    1. Oh, Annalisa - we are so alike. LOL Ditto to the dog walking… but the singing made me laugh out loud… I love to sing in the car because I know no one can hear me. I can't carry a tune if my life depended on it. But I sure love to sing!

Thanks for really putting a broad smile on my face with your comment. xxoo
