Getting to know co-host Jenny Pearson (the inside scoop)

Today I'm over at the Blogging from A to Z Challenge blog answering some questions that each co-host has been asked to answer - so you can get to know us a little better - today is my turn on the hot seat!
For your convenience I have posted my answers here as well!

Name:  Jenny Pearson (that's me up there...looking out over Stuttgart, from their TV tower)
Blog:     Pearson Report (right here...this place)
Twitter: @Pearson Report (see...I’m prepared to Tweet - I just don’t know how, yet)

TEN GETTING TO KNOW ME QUESTIONS
What is the most daring thing you've ever done?
Come to Earth.
What is your favourite article of clothing?
My birthday suit.
What is your favourite monster?
My inner child.
If you had to dress up as your favourite literary character, who would it be?
Lola, from Storm Wenger Chronicles. (stilettos, fast cars and tall, handsome Thor - what more could a girl want)
What is your favourite fairy tale, urban legend or nursery rhyme?
My favourite tales are those I made up and told my daughter...long, long ago...far, far away...at the end of the galaxy!
What is a cause near and dear to your heart?
Motherhood. (yes, I consider it a cause)
What's the strangest item you've used as a bookmark?
I’ve never used anything that would qualify as “strange”...for a bookmark.
Do you have any nicknames? What are they and how did you earn them?
No-fur. My name appeared on a roster as Jennifer - I advised the team captain “there’s no fur on this Jenny” - it stuck!
Name one habit you want to change in yourself:
Impatience.
Tell us something interesting or shocking about yourself:
I applied to be a Private Eye and acquired my FAC; I can hit a moving target and I ask questions later!
SOME A to Z QUESTIONS
What was your favourite A to Z post from 2011?
What brought you to the A to Z originally?
I saw the Challenge badge on April 1, 2011, over at Al’s place.
Tell us about your first A to Z Challenge:
2011 was my first - since I had no time to prep I posted daily based on that day’s inspirations. I loved it!
Are you doing a theme this year?
I think so...but we’ll see.
Are you writing and scheduling posts in advance?
Yes, but only because I’m co-hosting, otherwise I would do my posts the day of (I liked the spontaneity last year). This year I will use my free time to visit and comment on blogs that are participating in the A to Z Challenge.
What is your favourite letter of the alphabet, and why?  What letter do you like least?
I don’t have a favourite, I like them all!

All that’s left for me to do is invite you to stay for cake and ice-cream.

Today is my birthday, and I like celebrating it with friends.
If you want to read a funny bit about how I celebrate this monumental occasion...read THIS!

Is there anything else you’d like to know? ...shoe size? ...ring size?...just ask! I might know the answer!
Now, tell me something 'interesting' or 'shocking' about yourself, hmm...

Cheers,   Jenny
And don’t forget…
This A to Z Co-Host wants to play TAG with you!

  1. There's nothing wrong in the slightest about considering motherhood as a cause, it most certainly is a cause and at that one of the most important, toughest causes anyone could commit to in their lives. Awesome stuff Jenny, it's great to know more about you. Guess I'll have to be careful about what I post from now on considering I'm being followed by somebody who was close to being a private eye haha!

    1. Matthew - Thank you for your kind words. I have always taken my role as a mother seriously - to me it my greatest accomplishment and through it I am still a work in progress.

Thank you for stopping by and "getting to know me" a little better. :)

My inner child can be more than a handful and sometimes a downright little devil! :)

  5. Happy Birthday!!! Is that an actual pic of a birthday martini you had for breakfast?

Something about myself? I have freakishly long toes.

    1. Hi Jenn3128 - Welcome to Pearson Report. I think I'll take the fifth on admitting to having a martini for breakfast!
My daughter has "freakishly long toes" too...but I personally think long toes are gorgeous!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me some birthday wishes - much appreciated. :)

As to 'impatience', she's been a close friend these many years, I doubt I'll be saying goodbye to "her" anytime soon! :)

I'm glad I revealed the photo mystery!

Also, living on this part of the planet, where its rain for three quarters of the year, helps too!!

  13. It was fun getting to know you better! Though after reading the Hammer story I'm kinda afraid to even mention your Birthday at this late hour! Happy Belated Birthday Jenny! I hope I make it through the night! Julie

    1. Hi Julie - I love the reaction I get to that "Hammer" story! I should qualify...it is only the significant other in my life that needs to meet my rigid "morning of" requirement. All others can do as they wish - mind you, I still love when the phone rings off the hook in the morning. It truly does set the tone for the day!
I'd hate to be an afterthought - which is my point with the morning card.
That being said...thank you so much for the birthday wishes...late or otherwise, and I'm sure you'll survive the night!! :) Hugs, Jenny.

  15. Hi Jenny. I had to stop by and see what you've been up to. No Fur! (loved that one!) And the fact that your inner child is your favorite monster... can really identify with that one. ;) Sorry I missed your birthday. I'm sure you made the most of it. Hugs to you!

You didn't miss my birthday...technically it's 02/27 - but I celebrate all year long!! (what the heck)

Thanks for dropping by and sharing your thoughts.

I'd give you a penny for them, but alas we just snuffed it out. Yup...gone!
It's all about the nickel now...so at this rate you can leave 5 thoughts!

Cheers, Jenny
